Accessibility Statement
Last updated: October 5, 2026
Changing Life Journey believes information should be welcoming and usable by as many people as possible. Accessibility is especially important to us because our work is created for adults navigating the changes that can come with getting older, and readability should never be treated as an afterthought.
Our Commitment
We are working to make ChangingLifeJourney.com easier to use for people with a wide range of abilities, devices, and assistive technologies. Our goal is to follow generally recognized web accessibility practices, including the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA, where reasonably applicable to our website and content.
This statement describes our goal and ongoing work; it is not a claim that every page or resource has been independently tested or fully conforms to every WCAG success criterion.
Accessibility Practices
As the site is built and maintained, we aim to use readable type sizes, strong color contrast, clear headings, meaningful link text, keyboard-accessible navigation, labels for form fields, descriptive alternative text for meaningful images, and layouts that remain usable when text is enlarged or viewed on smaller screens.
Changing Life Journey also creates reader-facing resources with large-print readability in mind. When space and readability compete, our preference is to protect readability.
Downloads and Third-Party Services
Some downloadable files or services provided by third parties may present accessibility limitations that are outside our direct control. We will work to improve the accessibility of resources we create and will consider reasonable alternatives when a visitor tells us that a resource is difficult to use.
Need Help?
If you have difficulty accessing part of this website, please contact us through our Contact page. Tell us which page or resource caused the problem and, if helpful, what technology or device you were using. We will use that information to help address the problem and improve the site.
Ongoing Improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing process. As Changing Life Journey grows and new pages, articles, downloads, and services are added, we intend to keep accessibility and readability part of the design and review process.
